Reiki Level 1 is an interactive and educational workshop that focuses on physical healing through a gentle and light touch beneficial to reduce pain, relieve stress and anxiety and improve sleep.

Who should attend this workshop?
Reiki beginners, practitioners, and licensed health care professionals are invited to discover, share and learn together.  Reiki can be a transformative experience for both personal and spiritual development and growth.  The simplicity of Reiki makes it easy to learn with no prior hands-on healing experience required making it available to people regardless of age or state of health. 

What you will learn:
The level 1 class assists students in establishing and developing a strong foundation in Reiki practice. In this course, students are introduced to basic Reiki principles, concepts, terminology, treatment methods and history.   Support materials will be provided to include hand-outs, a beautifully written book about Reiki to support your on-going practice and a certificate of completion in the Usui System of Natural Healing - Reiki Level 1 will be issued.  At the end of level 1 training, students will be prepared to offer Reiki to adults, children and pets and use it for daily self-care. 

On-going support via email, Skype or phone will be available to all students that have completed this training.

In this workshop students open up to further possibilities for healing beyond physical touch and focus on healing by placing greater emphasis on the mind.

What's Covered in this Workshop?
Students replace the hands-on physical approach and focus their concentration on healing with the mind, a practice known as distance healing.  Three of the five Reiki symbols are introduced in this workshop and are an integral component to practicing distance healing. Much different than Reiki 1, the class will practice distance healing with a recipient not present in the room. 

Who should attend?
This workshop is for practitioners that have been attuned to first-degree or Reiki 1 and ready and prepared to take the next step in making a deeper connection with their Reiki practice.  For many, this method is very practical when family members and loved ones are unable to be physically present for a Reiki treatment.  Professionals such as counselors, teachers and psychotherapists who would like to incorporate healing into their work where touch is not in the scope of their practice are also invited to learn distance healing.  **Please note students must have taken Reiki 1 as a pre-requisite to Reiki 2 training.  

Students will receive one initiation in this training, handouts and a certificate of completion will be issued for the Usui System of Natural Healing - Reiki Level 2. 

Please contact me prior to registering if you have taken Reiki 1 from another Reiki master.
